A 33-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Darren McGrath who was shot dead at his home in Belturbet, Co Cavan earlier this month.
Trevor McCabe with an address at 8 Mountpleasant, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan was charged with murder at a sitting of Monaghan District court this morning.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District court on June 5th at 10.30am.
There was no application for bail and legal aid was granted.
Mr McGrath (31) was shot dead on May 20th.
