A man in his 20s has been arrested in Limerick as part of an ongoing operation into organised crime in the area.
The man was arrested this afternoon after gardaí searched a house in the south of the city and recovered a sawn-off shotgun.
He is currently being detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Roxboro Road Garda station.
The search took place in Hyde Park, in the Prospect area of the city.
