A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal collision involving a car and bicycle in Co Cavan last night.
The cyclist, a 26-year-old man, died when he was struck by a car at 10 p.m. in Mountnugent.
Another man was arrested at the scene suspected of drink driving.
The name of the deceased was released this afternoon asMr Kevin Tuomey of Garrysallagh, Mountnugent, Co Cavan.
