A man has died following a house fire in Galway yesterday. The fire broke out at 5.30 p.m. at a house in Ardmore near Carna. The 94-year-old man, who lived alone, was badly burnt.
He was taken to University College hospital where he died in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are not treating the fire as suspicious. The victim’s name has not been released.
