Man (73), dies from stab wounds

A 73-year-old man who was stabbed in the street while on his way home from collecting his morning paper has died

A 73-year-old man who was stabbed in the street while on his way home from collecting his morning paper has died. Mr Norman Moffatt was attacked by a youth at the junction of Railway Road and Circular Road in Coleraine, Co Derry, on January 26th at 7.30 a.m. He died in hospital yesterday morning.

The attack was captured on a private security camera. The police said a 26-year-old man was arrested and interviewed shortly after the stabbing. He was released on police bail.
