A man (34) died in a crash in Co Meath this morning.
He was the only occupant of a Mitsubishi Colt that went out of control and crashed in Clonygrange, Ballivor, on the Mullingar Road at about 7am.
The man, named as Simon Walton, from Hazelwood, Ballivor, was taken to Mullingar Hospital after the crash by ambulance but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Gardaí from Trim, who are investigating the collision, are appealing for witnesses.
