A 31-year-old man will appear in Belfast Magistrates' Court in the morning on five counts of possessing information likely to be of use to terrorists.

The charges relate to house searches by the PSNI in west Belfast.

He is the forth person to be charged after the PSNI raided houses of republicans in west and north Belfast, as well as Sinn Féin's offices in Stormont.

On Tuesday, former Stormont porter Mr William Mackessy (44), from Wolfend Way, Ligoniel, appeared at Belfast Magistrates' Court.

Last Sunday night, Sinn Féin's chief Stormont administrator - Mr Denis Donaldson (52) from Aitnamona Crescent, Belfast - was charged at the with having confidential details of members of the police and British soldiers.

Ms Fiona Farrelly (46), a caterer from Ros Goill Park, Belfast, was charged with having a computer laptop containing information on Northern Ireland prison service employees.
