A man (25) was shot while sitting in his car at Brayton Park, Kilcock, between 11.45am and midday yesterday. He was taken to Blanchardstown hospital, Dublin. His condition is understood not to be life-threatening.
Gardaí have appealed for information on two cars. The first is dark in colour and was found burned out not far from the scene at Courtown Wood, Kilcock. The second is dark grey and was abandoned on the M4 Celbridge interchange on the eastbound slip road.
