Man (22) remanded over Dublin murder

A man has been remanded in custody in connection with the murder of Christopher Barry in Dublin last weekend.

A man has been remanded in custody in connection with the murder of Christopher Barry in Dublin last weekend.

Liam Bolger (22), of Homelawn Gardens, Tallaght, appeared before the Dublin District Court charged with the murder of Mr Barry (25) in Byrne’s bookmakers shop in Donnycarney on Saturday afternoon.

Judge Cormac Dunne granted legal aid and remanded Mr Bolger in custody for one week.

Another man also arrested in connection with the incident was released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
