A dispute at Galway bus depot has been resolved after management and unions accepted a Labour Relations Commission (LRC) proposal this afternoon.

The LRC proposal will see the filling of four vacant posts at the bus station deferred ahead of a joint industrial relations forum which will be set up to find a resolution to an ongoing disagreement over the discontinued Galway- London coach service.

Services resumed yesterday at Galway bus station following the two-day stoppage involving 100 drivers.

The dispute caused major disruption in the city and the west earlier this week.
