Fifteen people were killed and one was in a critical condition after a bus collided with a lorry on a road in southeast Nigeria earlier this week, a newspaper reported today.
The crash occurred on Monday on the Owerri-Okigwe road in Imo State when the bus tried to overtake the lorry, This Daysaid. Three of those who died were students, the paper said.
Last week, 15 people were killed and 12 seriously injured when their bus somersaulted on a road in southwest Nigeria after a tyre burst.
