The Limerick city boy fatally injured when he was hit by a car on Sunday evening was named as Philip Storan (14), of Upper Carey's Road.
He was walking along the Old Cork Road at Donoughmore at around 6.30 p.m. when the accident occurred. He was dead on admission to Limerick Regional Hospital.
