The Leinster Lions will play their three home pool games in this season's Heineken Cup at Lansdowne Road.

The Donnybrook side requested the switch as building work is set to commence at their Dublin 4 base.

The European Rugby Commission accepted there was no alternative venue to Lansdowne Road and approved the move, albeit on a "temporary basis".

Leinster play their Pool 3 home games against Biarritz Olympique (December 6th), Sale Sharks (January, 1st) and Cardiff Blues (January, 24th).
