The 19-year-old ship's mechanic charged with the assault of Able Seaman Mr Brian Gorey (22) - has been remanded on continuing bail.
Able Mechanic Mr Seán Lundon from James Connolly Park in Tipperary, who also worked on the LE Eithne, was remanded on continuing bail at a brief appearance at Dublin District Court this morning.
He is due to reappear before the court on September 12th.
Mr Gorey's body was found floating close to the LE Eithnein the Liffey earlier this month. He had served on the ship for four years.
