The Irish Coastguard helicopter based at Finner Camp and the Kilybegs coastal rescue unit were last night in search for a pilgrim missing at Lough Derg.
The man, who is in his early 20s and from northern Ireland, was on a three-day pilgrimage to the islands and was reported missing early yesterday. When last seen he was wearing a navy top and tracksuit bottoms and no shoes.
