The Israeli army has shot dead a teenage Palestinian in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanun.
Khaled Nasser, 15, was killed by heavy machine-gun fire from anIsraeli tank, Palestinian sources said, adding that clashes between Israelitroops and young stone-throwers had wounded another 17Palestinians.
Israeli troops have reoccupied areas of the northern Gaza Stripsince Thursday morning, in a bid to further dismantle theinfrastructure of militant groups and prevent rocket attacks onIsraeli targets.
