Stack is alleged to have assaulted the woman at his home in Beckenham, south east London, on September 1st.

The player, who is on loan from Arsenal to Millwall until the end of the season, spoke only to confirm his name and age at Bromley Magistrates' Court today.

He was granted bail ahead of a further hearing at Croydon Crown Court on November 30th.

A second man, Allan Smillie (22), from Feltham, west London, was charged with sexual assault and bailed to appear at Croydon Crown Court on the same date.
