The Irish National Teachers Organisation has called on teachers and parents to support the ICTU's plan for a minute's silence for peace next Friday. Children were the innocent victims of violence in the North over the past 25 years but could also be part of the peace process, the general secretary of the INTO, Senator Joe O'Toole, said.
