Glasgow - The survivors of the Glasgow plane crash that killed eight people yesterday continued to battle horrific injuries in hospital as the investigation into the tragedy continued.

Three Airtours employees, all men, received spinal injuries when the Cessna 404 Titan light aircraft plunged to the ground minutes after take-off on a flight to Aberdeen on Friday.

They were among nine staff from the holiday firm being taken from Glasgow to join a flight to Majorca.

Six Airtours employees died in the crash which also killed the pilot and co-pilot of the 11-seater plane.
