Britain's Imperial Chemicals Industries (ICI) said today it was looking at further cost cuts and plans to restructure all its units.
The maker of Dulux paints announced early this month that it was cutting more than 700 jobs as it reported a 21 percent drop in first quarter profit.
ICI Chief Executive Mr John McAdam told a meeting of the firm's shareholders their interests would not be served by a major divestment now.
