The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named the officials for the Ashes series between England and Australia starting in July.

West Indian umpire Steve Bucknor will stand in the first two Tests at Edgbaston and Lord's, starting on July 5th and 19th respectively. He will partner home officials George Sharp and John Holder.

Srinivas Venkataraghavan of India will take the following two games at Trent Bridge and Headingley, starting August 2nd and 16th respectively, with John Hampshire and David Shepherd.

The final test at the Oval starting on August 23rd will see South Africa's Rudi Koertzen standing with Peter Willey.

Pakistan's Talat Ali will act as match referee for the series.

The Australians arrive in Britain on May 29th.
