The availability of Hill 16 for Saturday's football double header at Croke Park is in doubt.

The availability of Hill 16 for Saturday's football double header at Croke Park is in doubt.

Strong winds have delayed the deconstruction of the stage - situated in front of the Hill - used during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Special Olympics.

The GAA, who started to print Hill 16 tickets for the games this morning, will monitor the situation closely over the next 24 hours.

Hill 16 was closed during the recent Leinster football championship semi-finals but was expected to reopen on conclusion of the Special Olympics.

Saturday's action sees Donegal play Tipperary (2.15) and Dublin clash with Armagh (4.15) in the third round of the All-Ireland qualfying series.
