British and Irish Lions centre Rob Henderson has been included in Munster's squad for this Saturday's Celtic League final against Leinster.
The former Wasps star missed last weekend's semi-final victory over Ulster after sustaining medial ligament damage to his knee in training 10 days ago.
But Munster are facing an injury crisis and coach Declan Kidney has named five contenders - including Henderson - for the two centre positions and right-wing berth. The others are Jason Holland, Mike Mullins, John Kelly and John O'Neill.
There is also a doubt at scrum-half where Irish international Peter Stringer is struggling with an ankle injury which left him on crutches following the Ulster game.
Stringer had not been able to walk until today but Kidney said: "There's been a bit of an improvement and we'll take medical advice on whether he'll play.
"But if we have to leave it right until kick-off time to make a decision we will.
Munster are unbeaten in their last three Inter-pros against Leinster, winning five times and drawing once. But Kidney insisted the record books were meaningless.
"It doesn't mean anything," Kidney said. "They are all in the past. In the Celtic League it's nil-all.
"They have won 13 matches on the trot and that is an exceptional record they are a very good side.
