The headquarters of the Mid-Western Health Board in Limerick has been included in the Corporation's Record of Protected Structures, despite a general objection from the board against inclusion.

The building, which incorporates the faτade of a neo-classical church, includes a pair of Ionic columns. The original interior of the former Church of Ireland Trinity Church on Catherine Street was removed in the 1960s. The Corporation stated the faτade is "an imposing building on the street" that provided a focal point. An objection by solicitors' firm Dundon Callanan against the inclusion in the record of a late-Georgian townhouse on the Crescent was also rejected, as was an objection by Hibernian Insurance to their early-Georgian house on Henry Street being included. A second building on Henry Street was also included despite an objection.
