Quito - The left-wing deputy, Mr Jaime Hurtado, of Ecuador's Popular Democratic Movement died yesterday in Quito's Eugenio Espejo hospital after he was shot, together with his nephew and a bodyguard, by an unidentified gunman next to the congressional building.
