Fees to GPs for administering the flu vaccine will be cut from €42 to €28.50, Minister for Health Dr James Reilly has told the Dáil. He said he would sign regulations later this week to cut the fee.
The move follows the Minister’s decision in the summer to allow pharmacies to provide the flu jab service.
Dr Reilly was speaking last night in the Dáil.
