Glencar Mining Plc today announced positive drill results from their projects in Mali, West Africa.

Glencar Mining Plc is a Dublin-based exploration company which focuses on exploration and development of gold deposits in Mali, Ghana and Uganda in Africa.

Some 4,421 metres of drilling have been completed by the company in the forth phase of drilling at Komana West in southern Mali.

The most significant results of the drill programme was the discovery of extensive ore-grade mineralisation in two of the most southerly drill holes of the project, pointing to the potential for increased southerly strike extension of the ore zone.

Following the completion of explorations at Badogo-Malikila yesterday the rig will return to Komana West where drilling will continue until June when the rainy season will necessitate the suspension of drilling.

Share prices in Glencar Mining Plc currently stand at €0.191, down marginally from €0.193 at close of business yesterday.
