Manchester United today said Mr Malcolm Glazer, the billionaire owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers American football team, has increased his stake in the Premiership football club to 42.76 million shares, equivalent to a stake of 16.31 per cent.
Mr Glazer has raised his stake by 2 per cent.
His last notification, on December 1st last year, claimed 37.36 million shares or 14.31 per cent.
