Two brothers of a Co Galway murder victim, Ms Philomena Gillane, had assault charges against them adjourned at a sitting of Gort District Court yesterday. Mr Patrick Gordon and Mr Martin Gordon of Beechlawn, Caltra, Co Galway, face charges arising from an incident at the home of their late sister's husband, Mr Pat Gillane, and his brother, Mr Kevin Gillane.
On the application of Supt Paul Mockler (prosecuting), Judge Al O'Den agreed to adjourn the case against both defendants to the sitting of Gort District Court on July 22nd.
