A total of 10,000 ecstasy tablets were seized by Killaloe gardaí after they stopped a car in north Tipperary in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The gardaí were acting on information when they stopped the car at Kilmastulla, Birdhill, at about 1.30 a.m. A 22-year- old man and an 18-year-old man from the Thurles area were arrested. They were released yesterday evening and a file is being prepared for the DPP. The value of the haul is estimated to be worth €70,000.
