Gardaí in Cobh are seeking the public’s help in tracing the whereabouts of a 16-year-old girl who went missing last Friday.

Shannon Cunningham was last seen at approximately 10.45pm on Friday June 3rd on the Cork to Dublin Motorway (M8) heading northbound at Urlingford, Co Kilkenny.

She is described as being of medium build, 157.5cm (5ft2in) in height, with green eyes, a sallow complexion and short brown hair usually styled with streaks or spiked.

When last seen she was wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.

A garda spokesman said Shannon may appear older than she is and usually wears heavy makeup.

She is known to have friends and acquaintances in the Drogheda, Co Louth area.
