A man was arrested in Dublin last night carrying a large amount of cocaine.
The 49-year-old was searched by gardai in St Ronan's Estate, Clondalkin at 10 p.m. Between £12,000 and £15,000-worth of the drug was found on him, a Garda spokeswoman said.
He is being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice, Drug Trafficking Act. He can be held for up to seven days without charge.
