Gardaí have released a man arrested yesterday afternoon in an investigation into a killing in Ballymun.
The man (34) was detained in connection with the death of Mr Anthony Jordan but was freed without charge this morning.
A Garda spokesman said a file was being prepared for the DPP.
Mr Jordan's body was found in a flat at Balbutcher Lane in the north Dublin suburb on Tuesday evening.
Post-mortem results showed Mr Jordan (54), who lived alone, died from head injuries and may have been dead for several days.
