A garda was hospitalised after he was stabbed during a robbery of a flat in Dublin.
A man was arrested over the incident and is being held at Terenure Garda Station.
Gardaí were called after five men, armed with knives, entered a flat in Trinity House, Church Avenue, in Rathmines at about 10.30 p.m. The men tied up the occupants and robbed them.
On arriving, one of the gardaí was stabbed in the arm and leg. He was taken to St James Hospital and his condition is not thought to be serious.
