Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the city centre last Sunday that left a man in hospital with serious head injuries.
The victim (29) was assaulted at the taxi rank on Aston Quay early on Sunday morning.
He was taken to St James's Hospital where he is being treated for head injuries.
Gardaí say they want to speak anyone who was in the area between 2am and 4.30am last Sunday.
