The Garda in Mullingar have appealed for information about a serious assault which occurred outside a nightclub in the town early this morning.
Two men were taken to Mullingar General Hospital with head and facial injuries after the incident at around 2 a.m.
Gardai are looking for one man in connection with the incident. He is described as being approximately 6 foot tall with a tight haircut.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information relating to it, in particular anyone who was in the vicinty of the Greville Arms Hotel between 1.45 a.m., and 2.15 a.m, is asked to contact the Gardai at 044 - 84000.
