A Co Cork fisherman admitted two charges of arson when he appeared before Cork Criminal Circuit Court today.

A Co Cork fisherman admitted two charges of arson when he appeared before Cork Criminal Circuit Court today.

Keith McCarthy, Bawnavota, Kinsale, pleaded guilty to causing a fire at Rathmore Tennis Club, Kinsale, on September 5th, 1996, resulting in damage amounting to £24,000 and on the same date setting another fire at the guesthouse of Mr Michael Murphy, Farm Lane, Kinsale, which caused £8,000 damage. Judge A.G. Murphy re manded McCarthy on bail for sentencing on March 10th.
