A fellowship for scholars from the Third World is to be endowed in University College, Galway by the Bank of Ireland. The £100,000 fellowship will be open to scholars who wish to study the development and progress of people in the Third World. The Fellowship marks the 150th anniversary of the foundation of UCG in 1845.
