London - The parents of Stephen Lawrence yesterday began the process of suing the suspects accused of his murder and the Metropolitan Police Service for bungling the investigation into his death.
Writs were lodged in the High Court yesterday afternoon by the family's solicitors. The move, the day before the sixth anniversary of Stephen's death, was prompted by the six-year deadline for launching civil actions.
