CORNER BROOK - The premier of Newfoundland, Mr Brian Tobin, led his governing Liberal Party to a sweeping victory n Newfoundland's general election yesterday.
A former television newscaster, Mr Tobin (41) captured attention last year when as federal fisheries minister he ordered the arrest of a Spanish trawler in international waters for fishing turbot in the Grand Banks.
