EU gives €338 m to Colombia

Brussels - The EU is giving €338.25 million ($300 million) to Colombia to support its peace process, the European Commission said yesterday. In announcing the figure, during a Colombia donors' conference here, the EU External Relations Commissioner, Mr Chris Patten, called on the rebel National Liberation Army (ELN) to return to peace talks.
