The eight men arrested after the Republican Sinn Fein ardfheis at the weekend have been released.
Seven were arrested as they drove home from the ardfheis in Drogheda, Co Louth, on Sunday. The eighth was arrested at home in Dundalk that night. The Republican Sinn Fein president, Mr Ruairi O Bradaigh, said the releases vindicated his party's claims that the Garda was waging "a campaign of harassment" against it.
