The European Investment Bank has lent ICC Bank £50 million for lending to small-and medium-sized businesses in industry, services and tourism as well as for small-scale energy, environment and infrastructural projects. According to the EIB, the finance is aimed at investment that will increase productivity and competitive capacity of SMEs and schemes that will contribute to economic growth, including secure energy supplies. The funds can also be used for projects in Northern Ireland.
