Leadership Conference at Mary Immaculate College Limerick

The Theology and Religious Department (TRS) at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick is hosting a major conference on Thursday, May 27th from 9.30am to 5pm with “Emerging Challenges for Leadership in Ireland Today” as its theme. Early Childhood Education Conference

Froebel College of Education in partnership with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment will host a conference on early childhood education Friday, May 21st. The conference, entitled “Playing to learn – Sowing the Seeds to Start the Journey”, takes place in the Froebel College of Education, Blackrock, Co Dublin. Practitioners will showcase examples of play in early years settings including infant classrooms. The keynote speaker is Prof Elizabeth Wood. Consumer conference at UL

IRCHSS and the Department of History ath the University of Limerick are holding an interdisciplinary conference on consumerism from the early modern to postmodern periods on Friday, May 21st in the Languages Building, UL. The EdTech2010 Irish Technology-Enhanced Learning Users’ Conference is being held in Athlone IT on Thursday, May 20th and Friday, May 21st. Lecture on the Evolution of Children’s Picture Books

The first annual Mary Pollard Memorial Lecture is by Jill Shefrin and is entitled “This Will Make Learning Pleasant – Early Modern Children and Pictures”.
