Iarnród Eireann has confirmed that the 4.30pm Cork to Dublin train has been delayed by half an hour after unofficial strike action briefly took place this afternoon.
The action has since been averted but minor delays are expected on the remaining services.
'Per Way' staff took the action in solidarity with an individual worker. It initially led to the cancellation of the 4.30pm and 5.30pm trains and disruption of the three remaining services at 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
