MEXICO CITY The Mexican government deported one of the world's most wanted drug traffickers to the US yesterday in a spectacular security operation barely 24 hours after his arrest, US and Mexican officials said.
A Mexican American, Mr Juan Garcia Abrego (51), arrested in Monterrey on Sunday night, was bundled on to a light aircraft at Mexico City airport and flown to Houston, Texas.
