A heroin dealer who shot a woman in the leg after a dispute about drugs money has been jailed for five years by Judge Kieran O'Connor at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Paul Coleman (34), of Portland Row, Dublin, pleaded guilty to the attack.

The court was told he had put the gun to the woman's head as she lay in bed and she heard it click. He claimed her brother owed him £2,500 for heroin and accused her of hiding him. He also threatened to shoot her father.
