Manchester - A family doctor charged with murdering four women patients was again remanded in custody yesterday.

Manchester - A family doctor charged with murdering four women patients was again remanded in custody yesterday.

Dr Harold Shipman (52), of Hyde, Greater Manchester, was charged with murdering Mrs Kathleen Grundy (81) and forging her will on September 7th. Last Wednesday he was also charged with killing Mrs Joan Melia and Mrs Winifred Mellor, both 73, and Mrs Bianca Pomfret (49).
