London - Mr Frank Dobson, the Labour Party's candidate for London mayor, yesterday hit back at party image-makers who told him to lose his beard.
Mr Dobson, whose full white beard makes him one of the few remaining hirsute members of Labour's upper ranks, said he had told his party's style consultants to "get stuffed" when they told him a shave would help him win the May 4th London election.
