Diageo has confirmed it is exploring the opportunity to acquire the Ursus and Ursus Roter vodka brands from the owners of Netherlands-based Ursus Vodka Holdings NV.
"We have signed an agreement with the owners which is subject to a number of conditions including clearance by competition authorities," a Diageo spokeswoman said.
